fundfindr’s Skin Competition

With our alpha product live, fundfindr is giving the opportunity for a creative talent to design a fresh and interesting new look for both www.fundfindr.com and www.fundfindr.tv. Taking after Guy Kawasaki's book cover competition for "The Art of the Start", we're giving you the chance to give fundfindr a new web 2.0 skin!

The Competition

Think you have what it takes? This is your chance to go head-to-head with other graphic designers and put your skills to the test. All you need to do is upload your mock-ups and let the fundfindr community rate and comment on your design.

Criteria: The Basics

The fundfindr management team will review all entries and choose the winner based on the following criteria:

• Votes and comments from the fundfindr community
• A unique web2.0 look and feel that fits with our brand
• A layout that displays information in a fun and intuitive way
• A design that brings forward the features and functionality of the sites
• Background material, logos, etc will be provided upon request
• Entrants can contact designcompetition@fundfindr.com with any questions
• Entrants must register for free on fundfindr.com in order to upload their mock-ups as a JPEG or PNG

The Challenge - Should You Dare

Special consideration will be given to those that help us with our two biggest challenges:

• Make the .com and .tv sites look as similar as possible to keep the user experience consistent
• Integrate the profile and pitch pages into a single seamless page showing the content, functionality and pitch video all at once.

The Prize

$500 to the individual or team that can come up with the best new look for our sites.

fundfindr is constantly updating and growing. As such, we also recommend that designers looking for part-time work submit their resume and portfolio to designcompetition@fundfindr.com along with the mock-up you uploaded to our site.
